Having been homeowners on the Coast for some 18 years, and lived here as residents with the kids in full-time education for the last six years, you could say we have a pretty good understanding of what makes the Coast ‘tick’. Add to this the fact that we’ve been running a successful on-line property management and rentals business here for the past two years, means we also have a good in-depth knowledge of the local property market.
Because of our unique position of caring for owners’ homes over the long term and managing their rentals for them, it seems natural for people to come to us for impartial advice about buying and owning property. Apart from asking us what they should purchase and where, they have also wanted to know how much they could realistically expect for short and long term lets, and for how many weeks in the year. Many have also asked us to become involved in the sales process with them which, until now, we were unable to do.
It took us a long while to consider adding a real estate division to our range of company services. In the meantime, our existing clients and other individuals were putting us under increasing pressure to help them either sell a property or buy one. Then, quite by coincidence, a respected local real estate company approached us to take over their portfolio of properties. It was at this stage we realised we could finally offer existing and new clients a credible property sales service. And so HomeSalesontheWeb was born!
