ADAM FREELAND PLAYS THE ROCKET FESTIVAL!

BREAKBEAT MAESTRO ADAM FREELAND HAS JUST BEEN ANNOUNCED TO PLAY THE ROCKET FESTIVAL, 16th, 17th and 18th May!

Almeria on May 30th, 2008.

Rocket Festival organisers are pleased to announce that Adam Freeland has been confirmed for a Saturday night slot at the Dance tent - sharing the dizzying heights of the bill with Pendulum and old friends, Evil Nine!

One of the most renowned and versatile DJs from the breaks scene, Adam has played to rapturous crowds across the world in recent years and is currently on tour in the US.

It was back in 1996 that Adam's Coastal Breaks album kickstarted the break beat phenomena and since then, he has garnered the respect from the likes of Carl Cox, the Chemical Brothers and DJ Sasha.


His debut album, Now and Then, released in 2003 was inspired by punk, hip-hop, electro, dub, reggae and rock and featured his critically acclaimed version of The Doors', "Hello I Love You". His Global Underground Series encompasses Drone Rock, minimal, electro-punk, yet all defined by sexy break beat.


The Rocket Festival will be taking place on 16th, 17th and 18th May, amidst stunning mountainous surrounds, near to the hot springs of Granada.
