OMG - sounds like 24 hours of HELL. You experienced the worst Costa de la Luz must have to offer. Please don't let this put you off coming back. Next time stay in Vejer - there are loads of hidden gems of B&B's and boutique hotels here. The glorious beach of El Palmar is 10 mins away by car, so you can spend all day there, have lunch at one of the fab beach restaurants and then head back to Vejer where no one would dare offer you a smelly damp room with a crawling mini bar. Vejer is full of gorgeous eateries for supper. That way you'll have the best of both worlds!

Enjoy,
