Compliance Specialist (Transaction Monitoring), Gibraltar

The continued evolution and growth of the European Office of this global financial service provider requires a talented individual to join its Compliance function. Based in Gibraltar this person will report directly to both the companies Compliance Director and the Anti Money Laundering Officer. You core duties will revolve around ensuring compliance by the client with the applicable laws and regulations both with in Gibraltar and outside in the main European markets for their products. You will have a key focus upon monitoring transactions and identifying suspicious transactions and possible criminal activity. To be considered you should have an analytical mindset and be able to analyse data to draw conclusions, for the business from it. You must be able to recognise and understand the impact of internal and external factors on the business. It is expected you will have a minimum of two years working in data analysis. This would be especially beneficial if it is combined with previous experience of anti-money laundering and / or fraud detection work.
