A telecommunications company has a fantastic opportunity for you to join them as Head of Technical Department in Gibraltar. The successful candidate will have at least 10 years experience working in telecommunications within network, services, and customer care management. Additionally candidates will have had previous experience working in a start-up teleco envioroment. The person should be capable to manage teams and have knowledge and experience in;

• Radio Frequency concepts.

• Radio Technology concepts (Wimax, Microwave, Wifi).

• SDH and/or NGN concepts.

• DDoS protection concepts.

• Metro Ethernet Network Concepts.

• Good Knowledge in access network (ADSL2+, VDSL2, GPON, EFM).

• Operation Systems concepts (Solaris, Linux, Windows).

• Services and applications (radius, web, ticketing system, new deployments, monitoring, Experience/Knowledge in Voice Implementation. Migrating the ADSL2+ to GPON or VDSL2 and billing Implementation is also desirable.
