I moved here over 4 years ago and soon after set up First Choice Properties.
When was the business fist established and why?
I could clearly see an opportunity servicing the UK and Irish market with a personalized and honest property management, rental and sales business.

What makes your business different?
Clearly understanding the current market and presenting this to both buyers and sellers, without all the Spanish bull.
Tell us your greatest business accomplishment?
Taking over the family business in Ireland when I was 25 years of age and watching it grow into one of the largest poultry processing business in Ireland with a turnover of €70.000.000
What is the worst business mistake you ever made that you learned from?
Loosing this family business in 2001.
Why would you recommend the Costa Del Sol for business and for lifestyle?
I would not for business but for lifestyle it has a lot going for it.
What changes do you see occurring in the future for southern Spain?
It will come more into line with the rest of northern Europe and become the no 1 holiday (overseas property) destination
If you could change one thing about Spain, what would it be?
Get rid of ¾ of the civil servants working for the state pushing pieces of paper from one desk to the next.
