How long have you lived in Spain and how long is your business established?
[ Roxanne ] I have lived in Spain most of my life, I came here in 1968, and did my studies in the UK and the the United States.
I have been in Private Practice here since my return to Spain from USA 7 months ago. I do individual and marriage thearpy, and e-therapy which is online counselling.
This is good for business people that travel alot. With a laptop you can be in touch with your therapist where ever you and many people like the anonimity of it.
Why did you choose Marbella?
[ Roxanne ] Marbella is home to me, there is no place in the world that offers the same quality of life that Marbella does.
Tell us your greatest business or personal accomplishment?
[ Roxanne ] My greatest accomplishment was getting my International Certification as a substance abuse counsellor, and being invited to Hazelden in Minnesota to study their treatment philosphy, as they are the Rolls Royce for me of the treatment centers.
Why would you recommend the Costa del Sol for business and Lifestyle?
[ Roxanne ] I think that the lifestyle here is unique, easy going and geopragically coiuldn't be better.
The Costa del Sol has grown so much in the last 10 years that a well thought out business can do well, people live here year round, it is not just for vacations.
If you could change one thing about Spain, what would it be?
[ Roxanne ] I don't think I would change anything, oh yes maybe have tipico cafes of the pueblos, turn the TV's down a bit, they are always blaring!

[ Roxanne ] Empathetic, gentle, and compassionate.
What is your favourite Restaurant in Marbella?
[ Roxanne ] La Tienda in La Tienda en La Virginia.
What is the last film you saw at the Cinema or DVD?
[ Roxanne ] Miss Potter and it was delightful.
What advice would you give to someone moving to Spain?
[ Roxanne ] Learn spanish, so you can enjoy the real Andalucia!
Name one other business you would recommend on the Costa Del Sol and why?
[ Roxanne ] A really good bookshop with a cafe, and music, open 7 days a week. A sort of Barnes and Nobles.

I am available to come to your school to give workshops, assemblies, and classroom guidance. My fee is 400 euros for the school day, (five hours, evening fee will vary ) plus expenses. I am available for students, parent and faculty presentations, during the school day or in the evening. Individual and group therapy can be arranged.
I have been in the field of counseling and teaching for the past 10 years. I have worked in a private K-12 school, and also in treatment centers and in private practice. I am passionate about helping our children by giving them the knowledge and the tools to cope with many of today's issues.
