A 14 year old boy from Algeciras has been arrested after he took his father’s car to go out with friends in Estepona.
Police say that the driver went the wrong way up a one-way street and was chased by a police car for some 300m at one stage, only stopping when he suffered a puncture after hitting a kerb.
The boy then tried to make his escape on foot, but was soon caught by the police who were surprised to establish that he was a Moroccan resident of Spain and just 14 years old.
It all happened at six in the morning on Sunday in the Estepona port. |
