British blackspots in Spain

This Spanish News Item in English was published on : Sunday, June 15, 2008 (ID:3126)

THE German newspaper, Bild, has published a list of British ‘black spots’ to be avoided when holidaying.

The warning comes after a British tourist, 47-year-old David Barnish, complained to a travel agency that his holiday hotel in Greece “was full of Germans” and organised activities were based on German language.

Inevitably, three of the six resorts that appeared on the Bild list were in Spain, with readers advised to avoid Bahía de Palma (Mallorca), San Antonio (Ibiza) and Playa de las Américas (Tenerife).
