David Ferrer has sent Spain into the Davis Cup quarterfinals by beating Switzerlands Stanislas Wawrinka 6-2, 6-4, 6-0 in the first reverse singles match. Ferrer was in control throughout Sundays match and broke twice in the third set before serving out the victory to give Spain an unassailable 3-1 lead.
