The life of artist El Greco is to be made into a film with the painter being played by 27 year old British actor Nick Ashton.
A joint production between Spain, Greece, Italy and Great Britain has been in the pre-production stage for nearly seven years, but the project has now been presented in Athens.
Shooting begins in October and takes place in Spain, Greece and Italy. The film soundtrack will be composed by Vangelis.
