A new report from the Agencia Tributaria tax authorities has said that the ex Deputy Mayor of Marbella, Pedro Román, failed to pay Hacienda nearly six million € owned in 2001. The payments should have been made from his income generated in several companies including Mola 15, Fink 2010, Marbella Airways and Nuevos Aires 2002.
Román was in court today charged in the case which is being established separately from the Malaya case in the town and which also sees the ex Municipal Real estate Assessor, Juan Antonio Roca, facing charges.
Also declaring today in Instruction court 5 in the town was the lawyer Juan German Hoffman and ex Commissioner, Florencio San Agapito.
EFE news agency says that Roca failed to pay 1.6 million € tax in 2001 for his income from the Swiss company Lispag which generated massive profits in 2002 when it sold off 90% of its shares in another company it had acquired the year before, Yambali 2000. |
