Our experience with property in Marbella runs from the early 1980s and we founded Nordica Invest SA in 1987 as a response to the growing interest for property in Spain among foreign residents. However, as swift as the market had risen, just as swift did it fall during the harsh 1990s, with the International crisis at the start of the decade provoking complete havoc in the Spanish property market. Nonetheless, we lived through it and feel we gained valuable experience and reputation in the process. We have recently moved to new premises in the heart of Marbella's renowned Golf Valley, having specialized in this area, and after 15 exciting years in Puerto Banús, the well known leisure port. Traditionally, our clients have been coming from the Scandinavian countries, but after the vast boom in the property market late 90’s, we have expanded our markets to the entire continent and the U.S., being firmly represented by internationally reputed estate agents. Our portfolio counts new projects with exclusive rights as vendors, apart from re-sales of second hand property. Our property database contains a few hundred items for resale.

Perhaps slightly intimidating if not annoying for the non-golfers, the omnipresent stress on golf in Marbella is due to its many excellent golf courses, all located within a fairly small area. The so-called Golf Valley west of Marbella is perhaps the most coveted area of them all and home to four first class courses: La Quinta, Los Naranjos, Las Brisas and Aloha, among estate agents referred to as the “Golden Triangle” of Marbella. The valley is a household name and a property haven for property buyers and real estate agents alike. “Golf” is often the key factor when a client is searching for property in the Golf Valley, but it is also commonly held to be one of the best investment opportunities in Europe.

Puerto Banús has been the playground for the international jet set since the early 70’s, a small oasis for the rich and famous when mass tourism was still in its early childhood. Today this reknowned leisure port has changed, it has grown and has become one of the main shopping centers on the coast with its three large malls, counting the national symbol of commerce, El Corte Inglés. The pulsating nightlife still attracts thousands every year, offering a vast diversity of bars, night-clubs, discoteques and restaurants, along with the casino, located just outside the port.
