The budget fashion chain store, Primark, opened its first store outside the UK and Ireland yesterday in a new Madrid shopping centre, taking on its Spanish rival Zara in its home country.

Primark is surrounded by Zara and seven other boutiques run by Inditex, parent company of the fashion chain.
