Protugal, Spain nanotech deal (Straits Times)

LISBON (Portugal) - THE leaders of Portugal and Spain are opening a joint research center for nanotechnology that they hope will become one of the worlds leading laboratories. The Iberian International Nanotechnology Laboratory aims to recruit some 200 scientists from around the world. It is expected to be fully operational by the middle of next year.
