A body has been found in the driving seat of a burnt out car, parked in the car park of the El Zoco commercial centre in Calahonda, Fuengirola yesterday morning.
Firemen were called to the scene by a local resident at around 5am yesterday morning.
The victim has been named as a 57 year old Irishman with the initials L.G. who lived in Mijas. His body was not affected by the fire which it’s thought was started in the boot of the vehicle which was a British number-plated Rover.
And in a separate incident, a passer by found a human arm and leg on waste ground on the outskirts of Torremolinos. The limbs had appeared to have been previously burnt.
They have been taken to the Legal Medicine Institute in Málaga where the age and sex of the victim will be determined, and also whether he or she was chopped up before or after death.
